DiveKit UK was formed by Mike Perfect, and as is the case with most enterprises it came about by a personal need for a specific product.

Unable to find a secure and simple device for mounting a pony cylinder onto his main tank, he designed and made his own.

As a member of a dive club he was approached by friends and other club members to produce clamps for them.

With the various sizes and types of main and pony cylinders in use, Mike redesigned his original Pony Clamps to be fully adjustable and doing so, creating a standard design.

The diver’s reel evolved because Mike’s original plastic reel was broken while in his dive bag on route to a dive site. Unable to find a strong, user friendly and cost effective reel in the market place, he again designed and produced his own.

The current reel design is the second generation, developed from three years of diving by Mike and other club members in various conditions and locations around the world.

The aim of DiveKit UK is to produce good quality, sensibly priced diving equipment and to provide bespoke equipment to meet customer’s needs.
